A Quick History of Stuart’s
1961 – Charlie and Lou Stuart started renting 57 North Cray Road as farmland
1977 – The land went up for sale and was bought by the Stuarts
1979/80 – We opened up our first shop to sell produce from the farm
1987 – Stuart’s Garden Centre was opened at 57 North Cray Road
1997 – We started the recycling business in the top field of the site
2010 – We rented out the Garden Centre and made the recycling business our main venture
